Synopsis

As a Pricing Manager Joint Venture at Etihad Airways, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue across the joint venture markets by developing and executing pricing strategies tailored to JV partnership dynamics. You will ensure pricing alignment with partners, monitor market trends and competitor actions, and collaborate across teams to achieve joint PRASK targets and optimize total network value.


Accountabilities

  • JV Revenue Optimization: Maximize revenue through strategic pricing in JV markets, aligned with PRASK and overall JV goals.
  • Pricing Strategy: Design and adapt pricing strategies in sync with partner carriers and aligned with market demand and competitive positioning.
  • Joint Governance: Participate in regular JV meetings and coordinate approvals, ensuring alignment on fare actions, promotions, and tactical responses.
  • Partner Collaboration: Coordinate closely with partner airlines on pricing approvals, strategic campaigns, and joint performance reviews.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor actions, benchmark pricing, and adjust fare products accordingly in JV markets.
  • Tool Usage: Use pricing tools and data platforms (e.g., O&D, ATPCO, GDS, Tableau) to execute and evaluate strategies effectively.
  • Data-Driven Actions: Review performance metrics and propose improvements to pricing or tactical offers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Demand, Distribution, Alliances, and Network to ensure coherent pricing actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps and propose enhancements in pricing processes and coordination with partners.


Education & Experience

  • Educated to degree level or with relevant analytical experience.
  • 5 years working experience in a numerate and analytical role.
  • Experience in Joint Venture and partner pricing, including offline market handling and interline/codeshare coordination.
  • Familiar with ATPCO, GDS, DDS, Tableau, and pricing automation tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
